Not business as usual: Mustard is donating 25% this Pride
As the world celebrates Pride month, LGBTIQ people are facing some of the biggest challenges to their human rights in recent history.
This year, Pride isn't business as usual.
Escalating violence, funding cuts and widespread backlash against the rights of LGBTIQ people are happening around the world, and in our own communities. Between 23 and 30 June 2025, we're donating 25% of global sales to Outright International to show our solidarity and provide essential funding at a time when it's needed more than ever.
Here's everything you need to know about Mustard's partnership with Outright International for Pride 2025.

our pledge
At Mustard, every day is a rainbow celebration, but during Pride, the LGBTIQ rainbow is the one we're focused on! This year, in celebrating Pride, we knew we needed to continue our partnership with Outright International; not just because of the incredible work they do for the LGBTIQ human rights movement, but also because of the significant funding cuts and widespread challenges the community is currently facing.
In 2024, with your help and our very fabulous sold-out Rainbow Standard, we were able to donate a massive €46,000. This year, we're aiming to build upon that incredible donation as we continue to stand with Outright International to reimagine a world where dignity, justice and equality are non-negotiable for all.
When you shop with Mustard between 23 and 30th June, every purchase helps to power Outright's progress — with 25% of global sales going straight to where it's needed most.
"Pride is something we look forward to celebrating each year at Mustard. This year, while still celebrating the rainbow and everything fabulous, we wanted to do things a little bit differently. By donating 25% of our sales, we hope that we can not only show solidarity, but make a real difference to the global LGBTIQ community at a time where their rights are genuinely under threat. We're incredibly thankful to organisations like Outright."

a movement, not a moment
To get a better understanding of the challenges LGBTIQ people are currently facing, we asked some of the wonderful people at Outright to share their insights.
"Global LGBTIQ communities, including Outright's partners, are still reeling from foreign assistance cuts that have wiped out essential HIV services, human rights documentation, legal aid, inclusive democracy work, economic inclusion efforts, refugee services, and more. Effective, proven strategies to create a more fair and equal world were abandoned overnight."
— Neela Ghoshal, Director of Law, Policy, & Research
"These developments are likely to hinder critical advancements made with U.S. support, such as efforts in other countries to end the criminalization of same-sex relations and to pass non-discrimination policies rooted in fairness and fundamental values. This agenda of discrimination is likely to contribute to increased legal and economic marginalization and violence against vulnerable communities."
— Maria Sjödin, Executive Director
Fortunately, progress is happening, activists are making strides, communities are pushing forward and change is within reach. But it's an important reminder that help is still needed, long after the Pride parades are over.

the queen of our hearts
Helping us celebrate Pride this year, bring our campaign to life and spread this important message is oh-so fabulous Indigenous Drag Performer, Timberlina.
"For me, celebrating Pride is about being authentically myself. I'm proud to celebrate who I am and I believe everyone should be able to do that. That's why organisations like Outright are so important; they're powering change on a local level to help make the future brighter for LGBTIQ communities everywhere,"
— Timberlina, Indigenous Drag Performer
