I was pleased to find that the top of the hanger swivels in the wood. They slide in smoothly but the squiggle part holds collars and straps into place. I love the "ocean" color, too: it's very serene. I'm surprised how good it makes me feel about my wardrobe and the whole process of trying to get dressed to have beautiful, quality, frustration-free hangers! It's really worth the investment.
