Ways to use your Wordbits!
Magnets. Pretty useful little things, right? We definitely agree, especially when our lockers are the perfect surface for them (move over fridges!) In our opinion, when it comes to magnets, it doesn’t get better than Wordbits.
Wordbits joined the Mustard family as our first ever product collaboration at the beginning of 2021. Honestly, we can’t imagine our lockers ever being without them! We like to think that we have now had plenty of time to discover all (ok, maybe not all but we have a pretty solid list!) of the wonderful, funny and useful ways they can be used.
Of course, we wouldn’t want to keep this list to ourselves! We’re sharing all of the pretty, practical and sometimes just kinda hilarious ways to use them on our lockers. Welcome to the wonderful world of Wordbits, our favourite little letters.
keep your goals in sight
This one is especially great if you use your locker for work and keep it right next to your desk, or it has pride of place in your lounge, kitchen or bedroom and you are sure to see it every day. You can have all of your goals close by, in big beautiful letters, to keep you inspired!
plan your week ahead
Staying on top of your weekly to-do list can be a tricky part of life, we totally get it! We love this idea for making things a little bit clearer. A letter for each day of the week holding any tasks, meeting or fun events, so you can plan accordingly and avoid any clashes. Yay!
pull a funny face!
Make your Lowdown laugh or give your Shorty a smile! Wordbits’ specially designed typeface means that you can make your locker come to life by using the letters as shapes to form faces. This might be one of our favourite way to use them in our office, it always makes us giggle!
leave a note
Heading out of the house and need to leave a reminder? Or maybe you just want to deter people with a very obvious ‘keep out!’ to keep all of your locker treasures safe. Wordbits are the magnets for the job! Then there is the classic alphabet magnet use of leaving funny messages for people… ours are PG but yours don’t always have to be!

Shoutout to you renters out there - we know the pain of not being able to hang beautiful prints and saving them in a drawer until you can one day display them proudly. give your locker a name
Never forget whose locker is whose again. Someone else’s shoes accidentally won’t end up on your shelf again when everyone knows exactly where their stuff is meant to go. We love the idea of this on a lineup of Skinnys in a hallway or lockers in an office!
