Making The Flutes with Mustard and FAZEEK

It's not every day you get to celebrate the launch of a whole new collection, let alone a whole new material and a whole new era (yes, we do feel a bit like Taylor Swift dropping a new album, and no, we don't mind that at all.)
Glass, celebration and champagne go hand-in-hand. So, when we were planning the launch of our new fluted Glass Collection, we knew the perfect way to celebrate: a very special, very limited-edition product collaboration with one of our favourite brands. Meet The Flutes, our exclusive set of flute glasses featuring FAZEEK's signature wave design in our very own two-tone Mustard and Blush colour combo.
a lightbulb moment
The best ideas are those that just appear like a lightbulb and are too exciting to let them slip away. As long time lovers of iconic Melbourne-based FAZEEK, we've always had a soft spot for their colourful glasses and the way their shape echoes our logo. Becca and Jess even gifted the whole team a set of FAZEEK coupes one year and you'll often find their products popping up in our photoshoots. So when one day, the spark of the idea popped into Becca's mind for a perfect product collab, she reached out to Jackie, the founder and creative director of FAZEEK, to share her brainwave. Luckily for us, she was right on board!
"The opportunity to come together with another amazing woman-led brand to create beautifully designed objects that bring a sense of occasion and celebration to any moment was a very easy 'yes' for us," Jackie said.
"Mustard is building a new chapter in its brand story with its first foray into the medium of glass, we are so thrilled to be part of that journey and to create The Flutes to help celebrate the milestone."

It's no secret that we love a play on words, and making some champagne flutes to celebrate our fluted glass collection seemed like it was meant to be. But this special collaboration runs deeper than just a clever name.
"The Glass Collection really captures the evolution of Mustard as a brand," says Becca.
"We're elevating the concept of the locker, but staying true to our design aesthetic. Collaborating with FAZEEK to create our limited-edition champagne flutes feels like the perfect culmination of this new chapter." These hand-crafted, fine-stemmed, colourful creations are made for sipping and celebrating (the launch of a new collection!)

Just like our glass lockers are designed to add a sense of occasion to the ordinary, Jackie says that at FAZEEK "We believe that life is too short for stuffy elegance.
